Protective maintains and operate a certified ballistic research and test laboratory approved by the U.S. Army Ballistic Research Laboratory to perform testing in accordance with the National Institute of Justice 0101.03 and Mil-STD-662E. This is the only body armor manufacturer with such an in-house facility in the United States. The ability to provide independent test results assures the law enforcement community of regulated and government mandated ;level of in-house quality assurance and quality control.
